We booked three nights and stayed in a double room with a lake view. We really liked the room. However, we definitely prefer rooms with a shower. The breakfast was rich and tip top - fruits could be a little more varied (and please have better knives ready for them ;-)). Twice we were able to enjoy a delicious dinner outside on the large terrace with a direct view of the lake and the mountains. The staff throughout the hotel were extremely nice, helpful and charming - keep it up. We will be happy to recommend the Marina Walensee Hotel and come back on another occasion. A top destination for us mountain bikers and hikers who like to cool off in the lake. Thanks so much!
As mentioned above, we don't think rooms with bathtubs are great - we would very much welcome an expansion with showers in all rooms. During our stay we were working on the area - this didn't bother us as we set off early in the morning for our bike or hiking tours. But we are curious to see what the changed situation will look like.
